5. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Certain information you choose to provide may constitute special category personal data under UK data protection law. For example, information relating to:
• allergies
• health conditions
• accessibility requirements
• medical requirements
reveals information about your health. We will only request this type of information where it is reasonably necessary to support your attendance, wellbeing or safety at an event. Where necessary, relevant information may be shared with organisations such as:

We will only share the information reasonably necessary to accommodate your requirements. 6. WIX
The Events With Purpose website, including event registration and online ticketing functionality, is provided using Wix. When you visit our website, complete a form, register for an event, purchase a ticket, or interact with website functionality, Wix may process personal information in connection with services including website hosting, operation, event registration, ticketing, order management, security, analytics, checkout, and payment functionality. Information processed through Wix may include contact details, registration information, ticket information, order and transaction information, IP address, browser information, device information, and website usage information. Wix may use service providers and infrastructure located in different countries. Where personal information is transferred internationally, appropriate protections will be used where required by applicable data protection law. Wix also maintains its own privacy information explaining how it processes information in connection with its services.

Payments for tickets purchased through the Events With Purpose website are processed using the payment services connected to our Wix website. Relevant payment providers may process information including your name, billing information, payment information, payment method, transaction details, authentication information, and fraud prevention and security information. • public authorities where legally required
We will only share information that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. Events With Purpose does not sell your personal information. Where another organisation wishes to send marketing directly to attendees, an appropriate separate opt-in will be obtained where required.
9. A-SISTERHOOD AND OTHER CHARITABLE PARTNERS
Events With Purpose may organise events that raise funds for or support A-Sisterhood and other charitable organisations. A charity does not automatically receive your personal information simply because an event supports that organisation. Where information needs to be shared with a charitable partner, we will only do so where there is an appropriate reason and lawful basis. If you make a donation directly through a charity's own website, a third-party fundraising service, or another external payment platform, the organisation collecting that information will normally be responsible for how it processes your personal information. • future Events With Purpose events
• fundraising activities
• campaigns

Where consent is required, we will only send these communications where you have actively chosen to receive them. Consent to marketing will be separate from acceptance of event booking terms. You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe option contained in the communication, or emailing hello@eventswithpurpose.co.uk. Withdrawing consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn. We may retain a minimal record showing that you have unsubscribed so that we can continue to respect your preference.
11. PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING AT EVENTS
Photography and filming may take place at Events With Purpose events. Images and footage may be used for purposes including: the Events With Purpose website, social media, future event promotion, event recaps, press and publicity, and communications relating to our activities and impact. Where appropriate, we may rely on our legitimate interests for general event and audience photography. We will take reasonable steps to make attendees aware when photography or filming is taking place. Where photography or filming focuses specifically on an individual, is particularly prominent, takes place in a sensitive context, or is intended for a use the individual would not reasonably expect, we may seek specific permission. If you would prefer not to appear in identifiable photography or video, please contact us before the event at hello@eventswithpurpose.co.uk or speak to a member of the Events With Purpose team when you arrive. We will take reasonable steps to respect such requests.
12. COOKIES AND WEBSITE ANALYTICS
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. They may be used to provide essential website functionality, maintain website security, remember preferences, support event registration, enable ticket purchases and checkout, understand how visitors use our website, measure website performance, and support marketing functionality where permitted. Where consent is legally required, non-essential cookies will not be intentionally activated until you have made your choice. You can manage your preferences through the Cookie Settings available on our website. For further information, please read our Cookie Policy.
13. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Some of the technology and service providers used by Events With Purpose operate internationally. Your personal information may therefore be processed outside the United Kingdom. Where required by law, appropriate safeguards will be used. These may include transfers to countries recognised under UK adequacy regulations, approved contractual safeguards, or other legally recognised international transfer mechanisms.
14. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

Retained while you remain subscribed. A minimal record may be retained after you unsubscribe so that we can continue to respect your preference.
Photography and Video
Images and footage may be retained for longer where reasonably relevant to our historical archive, communications or promotion. We will periodically consider whether continued retention remains appropriate.
Complaints, Incidents and Legal Claims
Information may be retained for longer where reasonably necessary to investigate an incident or complaint or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.
15. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information from unauthorised access, accidental loss, destruction, alteration, inappropriate disclosure, and misuse. Access to personal information will be restricted to those who reasonably need it. Where third-party suppliers process personal information on our behalf, we expect appropriate data protection and security arrangements to be in place. However, no internet-based service or electronic storage system can guarantee absolute security.
16. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you rights including the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information, ask us to delete personal information in certain circumstances, ask us to restrict the use of your information, object to certain uses of your information, receive or transfer certain information in a portable format, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or object to direct marketing at any time. Some rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. To exercise any of these rights, please contact: hello@eventswithpurpose.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before responding to your request.
17. COMPLAINTS ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We would welcome the opportunity to investigate and address your concern. You also have the right to raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's independent data protection regulator.
18. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Events With Purpose website is not primarily directed at children. Any age restrictions applying to an individual event will be stated on the relevant event page. Where an event is open to children or young people and personal information relating to them needs to be collected, we will take additional care and use appropriate privacy, consent and safeguarding arrangements where necessary.
19. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES
Our website may contain links to websites operated by third parties, including charities, sponsors, partners, venues, fundraising platforms, payment providers, and social media platforms. Events With Purpose does not control how independent third-party organisations process information collected directly through their websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy information provided by any third-party website you visit.
20. AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
Events With Purpose does not currently use personal information to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals.
21. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, our events, our suppliers and service providers, the way we process personal information, or legal or regulatory requirements. The latest version will be published on this website. The date at the top of this Privacy Policy shows when it was last updated.
