These Terms & Conditions apply when you use the Events With Purpose website, register for an event, purchase a ticket or attend an Events With Purpose event. Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing a ticket.
By completing a ticket purchase, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

1. ABOUT EVENTS WITH PURPOSE
Events With Purpose is an independent events initiative creating purpose-led experiences, events and fundraising activities. Events may be organised in support of charitable organisations and causes, including A-Sisterhood.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Events With Purpose is responsible for organising and delivering its events.
2. EVENTS SUPPORTING CHARITIES
Events With Purpose may organise events that raise funds for or otherwise support charitable organisations, including A-Sisterhood.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- Events With Purpose is the event organiser
- the supported charity is not responsible for organising or delivering the event
- purchasing a ticket does not automatically create a contract between you and the supported charity
Each relevant event page will explain how the event is intended to support the named charity or cause. This may include:
- all net proceeds from the event
- a stated percentage of net proceeds
- a stated amount from each ticket sold
- a separate fundraising or donation element
- another clearly described fundraising arrangement
The wording displayed on the relevant event page will apply to that particular event. Unless expressly stated that the entire ticket price is donated, ticket revenue may first be used to meet legitimate costs associated with organising and delivering the event.
3. TICKETS AND CHARITABLE DONATIONS
Purchasing a ticket is payment for the right to attend the relevant event, subject to these Terms. A ticket purchase should not be treated as a charitable donation simply because an event supports a charitable organisation.
Where an optional charitable donation is offered separately, it will be identified separately from the ticket price. Any entitlement to Gift Aid will depend on the rules and arrangements of the relevant registered charity.
CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS & TRANSFERS
10. IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND
Unless the relevant event page expressly states otherwise, tickets are non-refundable where you simply change your mind or can no longer attend. This may include circumstances where you:
- make alternative plans
- have another commitment
- forget to attend
- experience ordinary travel difficulties
- are otherwise unable or choose not to attend.
